Association for Integrated Development –Comilla (AID-COMILLA) is a non-political , non-Profitable and Non-Governmental Organization(NGO). AID-COMILLA was establish in December 1992 by the active co-operation of some social workers who have long experience in the field of development and it has been working with the men / women / children of both urban and rural areas for the last 8 years.

The Philosophy of the AID-COMILLA is based on the conviction the paramount need of the men/ women/children both urban and rural is not relief but release form the prison of poverty. Our sacred duty is to help them to realize their potential power latent in them and enable them to earn secure and sustainable livelihoods through freely chosen productive employment.

AID-COMILLA aspires after a society free from exploitation and oppression where every individual will be able to live in peace and harmony and where every individual will get rightful shares of the resources belonging to the society. It also strives to augment human dignity , fraternity and social justice in the process of its development endeavors.

Aim of AID-COMILLA

To promote the socio-economic status of under privileged men / women / children both urban and rural through motivation, peoples organization, non-formal education, training and economic programmes by mobilizing available resources , i.e. manpower , water and soil.

To achieve the aims, Association for Integrated Development –Comilla (AID-COMILLA) focuses on 2 fundamental inter-related objectives, which are alleviation of poverty and empowerment to powerless people.

Working with GNAEC

AID-COMMILA as a partner of GNAEC has been implementing project activities in Chhagalnaiya and Parshuram upazillas of Feni districts since 2002.

A total of 2,484 households are being supported through Fish Farming Groups (FFG) to achieve sustainable development through an increased production of fish using improved integrated farming system techniques
